[Bucky is hanging out in his dorm room, which has a couple professional Quidditch team posters on the wall, plus at least one New York Yankees pennant ~~since he's too young to like the Dodgers~~, and is sort of a typical level of messy for a teenage boy's dorm room. He's sitting at his desk tossing a baseball back and forth into a new mitt, trying to break it in.]

Alright, I've gotta couple questions. First, if anyone missed the notice, my brother's cat is missing, and if any of you assholes kidnapped her, we're gonna have a problem. Her name's Grace, she's black and has an orange collar. If anyone's seen her, let me know. [And god help you if you did take her because that cat is like Jeff's daughter and he will be pissed. :|]

Second, does anyone have a spare copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them? I can't figure out what happened to my copy and we've got that paper next week. [Really he would not be shocked if it got eaten during class the other day, but whatever, it's a book.]

And if anyone's up for tossing a ball around, I wanna break in this glove by next week's game.

[ooc: Bucky is a senior in Cockrel, a Chaser on the Quidditch team and a shortstop on the baseball team. He's kind of one of the popular kids, but doesn't take crap from bullies and especially looks out for Steve and his twin brother, Jefferson, who is kind of a freak don't try to deny it. He's not the best student, but he shows up for class and does his work most of the time, he just likes sports better.]

[Bucky doesn't mind so much, he really just wants someone to toss a ball around with and since Steve's in the infirmary, he's not all that picky about who he plays with.]

Hey. [He tosses Ben the extra glove.]

Hey. [Ben smiles when he's greeted, and catches the glove, taking a moment to sort it out and slide it on. He's busy adjusting to it and closing it around his free hand fisted into the center of it as he paces out a very small distance away from Bucky.]

Thanks. I haven't played in a while, though, so go easy on me.

Don't worry about it, pretty sure coach'd kill me if I threw my arm out playing catch. [He tosses him the ball, not embarrassingly softly, but definitely not the kind of throw he'd be making in a game.]

What's up?

[Ben almost doesn't catch it, starting awkwardly to get under it, but he manages. And grins, pleased with himself, before lobbing it uncertainly back underhanded. He shrugs.]

Not a whole lot, but you already knew that. I wish there was like, a movie theater or something here.

[Bucky catches it easily, and doesn't comment one way or the other about Ben's almost catch, although he does grin and toss the ball back.]

That'd be nice. Be nice not to have to wait for everything to come out on DVD before you get to see it.

Yeah. You know I've never been to a proper movie theater? I can't even imagine a screen from ceiling to floor. [This time the catch is more confident, seeming to remember how to coordinate his movements together for this task, before tossing the ball back the same way.]
