Alright, so, [Bucky's still in his room, which looks the same as normal Bucky's room, but Bucky himself looks about a decade younger, and for the first time literally in his entire time on board isn't wearing some kind of military uniform. It's been swapped out for a buttoned down plaid shirt with a t-shirt underneath, jeans and sneakers, and he looks a little out of place in the pretty spartan, clearly military room he's hanging out in.] Either this flood's just switched all our rooms around - Stiles, this one might be yours? - or we traded memories or something, so I guess no one knows who we're dealing with anymore. Might be a good idea to start swapping stories so we know what we've got. I'll go first: I'm Bucky Barnes, I'm seventeen, and I'm from Beacon Hills, California. I'm here as a warden, and my best friend Steve Rogers and I were trying to get a lacrosse league going here, which I'm pretty sure we're still up for doing if anyone's interested. It's not like the CES went anywhere, right? Although I guess I'm gonna need to borrow a stick until my room gets back to normal. Or I guess if you're crashing in it, lemme know. There should be a lot of comics and stuff on the floor. [Don't judge, he was looking for something and didn't get around to tidying up before the flood hit.] So, who do you think you're supposed to be?

[She holds up a notebook to the camera. Handwritten, in four different languages with English at the top, is a letter than begins, Dear you, my name is Anya Lehnsherr. I live in the room you've woken up in. First things first: you're basically safe, in a place called the barge...]

I have evidence.

Her descriptions of the barge's operations are accurate, if occasionally imprecise. This supports her credibility as a source.

You think it's just the rooms? I mean, that might explain why this one has a record player.

I've gotta admit, as far as floods go, this one isn't as bad as what people have been warning me about.

How are they imprecise?

The day I don't know who you are is the day something really God awful's happened. And it's not, it's just weird. I told you, I turned into a dog, once. [... Although okay, considering what's going on with them, that is actually probably not that weird. Since you know. You are a werewolf.]

Yeah, and I'm really sorry I missed that.

You didn't take any pictures, did you?

She uses colloquial quantitative language seven times. "Many," "most", "sometimes", "most," "most", "a few" and "frequently". Given the small population of the barge and finite number of events directly observable in any given inhabitant's tenure, all of these could have been replaced with updated statistics. There are three similar lapses of different kinds.

But it is substantively thorough.

Well, there aren't any notes from some other Bucky letting me know what I'm supposed to expect.

The admiral announced a flood. Floods change us, not the barge. This is corroborated both by Anya Lehnsherr's briefing and my memories. Therefore anyone who finds their cabin unfamiliar is affected.

However, I did not connect the unfamiliar aspects of this cabin to any of the other passengers. You believe yours corresponds to warden Stiles Stilinski.

Or Cap, I guess. They're the only guys we've got from the 40's on board, right?

Right.

Geez, I hope all the floods are just turning into dogs and switching rooms. It would make things a lot easier.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. [Private] You're doing okay? [No wolfy flare ups or anything?]

Can't fault a guy for trying to think positive.

[Private]

So far, so good. But I guess maybe I shouldn't plan for things to stay that way, all the time.

Please, if I was gonna hold something against you, it probably wouldn't be that. [Private] Yeah, probably. [It's just hard to plan for stuff that you can't. Really plan for.] You ever have the feeling like, "when did my life turn into a B-Movie?" [He might be having that a lot, lately.]

Okay, yeah. There's plenty of other stuff that you could hold against me that we'll just never mention.

Only all the time. Except at least it's a B-movie with decent special effects. [Because otherwise that would suck, you know?]

I'm more worried about the fact that this ship is big... but it's not that big. [People might, you know. Notice things. In fact, they probably will.]

You're lucky I'm such a good friend. [Who will continue to not air your dirty laundry for everyone to see. 83] [Private] Yeah, I hear you. [That is definitely something he's been worrying about, because he definitely doesn't want Steve getting chased around by a mob with torches and pitchforks. People seem like they're pretty alright with people who are different, but. It's hard to shake that worry.] ... Has anyone noticed stuff?

I believe so.

I know of at least two people from the 1960's, but no others from that exact epoch.

[Not that their memories are necessarily a reliable source. Under the circumstances.]

I would be interested in knowing how much of your cabin either of them recognizes.

I'm not in my room.

[She looks very distressed about this. Although the room is a purple-ish shade of pink, which she likes but it isn't nearly as big as her real room. And it looks far too modern for her taste.]

The number on the door is still mine, but it's not really my room inside and all I have here are undergarments to wear!

[She is wearing a green coat, which she found that covers up most of her body, except for her legs. And she's holding up a dress that is far too short to meet her own dress standards.]

Um, I'm Anita Lesnicki, my friends call me Needy, I'm eighteen, and I'm from Haven, Maine. I'm...an inmate. Because I accidentally killed my best friend. [Well sort of. It's a little more complicated than that. But this version of Needy if a bit more nervous and shy still wouldn't have hidden all of that story away.] And I think I said I was going to come watch you guys play, if my memories are right. And we're talking about the same thing.

Oh, and what am I, chopped liver? [He's grinning too much for it to be taken as anything other than a tease.]

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I'd notice if they've noticed. [They'd be nervous, and he'd be able to tell.] But I'm not sure what to do about it. It'd seem kinda weird to suddenly announce, "Hey everyone, by the way, I didn't bother telling you before but... I'm kind of a werewolf," after the fact, you know?
