[Although it's not like he's really been sulking or otherwise skulking miserably around the Barge (for the most part), Bucky's mood has noticeably improved since last Friday. I'm sure most of you can guess why, and the new arrival he's been trailing practically everywhere should be a big hint to anyone who's out of the loop.

Anyway, Bucky's sitting at the desk in his room when he clicks on the video feed, still wearing his standard issue combat uniform, and doesn't beat around the bush much before just getting into what he's here to say.]

Alright, so I'm sure you're all sick of hearing me talk about this by now, but I've got a favor to ask: what's worth catching up on between 1945 and whatever you think's modern day?

I've already got some decent suggestions, but I could always use more. Movies, music, books, food, [Food is good. :9] Whatever.

I liked - science. Physics. And the kinds of showers they have here.

I liked fruit and flowers, too, but I don't think that's going to be new in your world.

But it was new for you?

Flowers wouldn't have been strong enough to survive in my world. Fruit comes from flowers.

What happened to it?

To my world? There are ashfalls.

That sounds depressing as hell.

Most things are grey or brown. The plants are thick, for the weight of the ash.

It's more beautiful in other places.

My suggestions aren't very good. The only Earths I've been to are strange.

That's fine. My Earth's pretty strange, too.

How?

Most people don't seem to know who the hell HYDRA is, and apparently aliens invade in the future.

Then at least things here won't be too surprising for you.

I think I've been doing alright.

You learn anything interesting about other Earths?

[godsays]

Some. We went to a Worlds Fair in Chicago. And a London that was divided, Above and Below. And to a place called Los Angeles, but I was locked up that week.

What's the difference between above and below?

One was above the ground and the other was below?

[imfollowinghim]

Yeah, but where I'm from, London below is a bunch of crummy subway stations, and that's about it.

Subway stations, tunnels. The places between, and the people invisible to the top side.

Why invisible?

[godsays]

I don't know. Part of the magic, I think.

I guess that's as good an answer as any.

They do have good showers. They change speeds. And some of them are like rain.

Does the water stay one temperature unless you change it?

[godsays]

Yes.
