•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Please don't spoiler the whole you get kidnapped by HYDRA/Commies and turned into a badass assassin thing for him. No Winter Soldier, and no you're the next Captain America after Steve dies, period, that is a bomb I am planning on dropping at a later date. I'm totally cool with people fourthwalling him otherwise, even though knowing CA:TFA specifically seems a little unlikely for most of our cast on board, but I don't mind someone saying they've seen him in movies (since those exist in his world anyway) and he knows there are Captain America comics in existence, so I don't think he'd be shocked to hear he was featured in them? He'll just be weirded out to hear he's a sixteen year old kid in them.

•AVOIDED TOPICS: I'm pretty uncomfortable when it comes to vampires drinking people's blood, and I'm generally uncomfortable being brought into plots involving sexual assault. If there's a specific reason why you want me/my character in it, just let me know well in advance so we can discuss it before I decide to get involved.

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: After falling off the train in The First Avenger. After the Post Credits Scene of The Winter Soldier.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: UPDATE - Bucky looks somewhere around 27 years old, is about six feet tall, and his ballpark weight is probably somewhere between 175 and 200 lbs, excluding his left arm, which is a fully robotic metal prosthetic with a red star painted on the shoulder. He's put on some muscle weight since being updated and thus looks a little more solid and toned than he used to. He's got short brown hair, blue eyes, is generally clean shaven or kind of stubbly if he hasn't been around a razor for a while and still dresses pretty simply, usually sticking to t-shirts, jeans, and sweatshirts these days. He usually speaks with a noticeable but not comically Brooklyn accent and just smells clean, really. After his update, he's no longer really friendly or teasing, and instead usually looks pretty blank faced or just brooding.
•DEMEANOR: UPDATE - Again, Bucky isn't the same smirky, friendly guy he was before. Generally speaking, he's quiet, often looks lost in thought or vaguely annoyed about everything, and tends to stay out of the limelight as much as humanly possible. He doesn't make eye contact often anymore when he's just talking casually with someone and has a difficult time expressing himself verbally as much as he used to, meaning he's usually a little chattier via text. He's most like his old self when he's feeling angry, but when he feels threatened or like something's threatening something he cares about, he's just ice cold and vicious.
•ABILITIES: UPDATE - After being experimented on by HYDRA, Bucky attained some ill defined super soldier abilities, including enhanced healing, stamina, reflexes and physical health. It takes him about half the time it would for a normal human to heal from injuries, it takes a lot to get him drunk, and he's likely pretty disease resistant, too. Aside from that, Bucky is a healthy, very physically active adult who's been trained by the US Army, the SSR and more recently HYDRA to be a soldier, special agent and world class assassin. Thanks to his training with HYDRA, he's an extremely skilled hand to hand combatant and can keep up with Steve in an all out fight. He's had a lot of combat and leadership experience, and also doesn't crack under pressure, even while being tortured, and is generally an extremely talented and capable soldier/assassin. He's got a special aptitude for being a sniper, and is comfortable handling most firearms and other weapons, including explosives.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: UPDATE - Bucky's physically healthy, but has a lot of issues with PTSD in association with his war record, being tortured and experimented on by HYRDA and having his identity completely stripped from him via brainwashing and more torture. He'll be uncomfortable being tied down or restrained while on his back, has a general discomfort around medical settings/equipment/professionals and could have bad flashbacks if pressed. He also heals more rapidly than normal humans, doesn't really get sick, and his blood, cells and DNA probably looks a little different if you're peeking at it.
•CABIN INFORMATION: The door to Bucky's cabin looks very plain and somewhat old fashioned. The interior is clearly a small room in a military base meant for two people - there's a bunkbed, two sets of trunks, backpacks, etc. It's a little cramped, but tidy and includes a desk, a very utilitarian wardrobe, and nothing on the walls but a calendar from 1945. There's a small, definitely kind of cramped bathroom with basic amenities.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Bucky's from the 40's, so while there's not much to offend him and there's definitely stuff he's going to be a little confused/dated about, the only stuff I can see him really getting pissy about are people talking smack about the war, supporting Nazi stuff, or picking on people who are weaker than them. He doesn't like bullies. He's also sensitive about what he's been through on the battlefield and will clam up and get nasty if people push him the wrong way about it.
