What he wants to say, what he would if he could, is that he already knows what the kind of training Bucky has to offer is worth in the wrong moment. What happens when the best and brightest gets caught off-guard by someone stronger. He remembers endless hours watching Ian drill, and how those hours meant absolutely nothing up against his father's fury.
