I don't know about guns, I think I've read enough about survival skills to at least know what I'm doing, but hand to hand sounds like it could be useful. At least enough so I can get away. [Lydia really doesn't want her best friend jumping to her defense every time they are in danger. She'd rather be useful for a change. Especially when there's a stupid vampire attacking people.]
